Chef Mads Refslund is the Executive Chef at acclaimed “gastro-bistro” ACME in New York’s Noho. Chef Reslund and ACME made a huge splash on the New York dining scene when opening up in 2012, and has been a tour de force of inspiring natural cooking ever since. Refslund, a native of Denmark, was previously the co-founder of Restaurant Noma in Copenhagen, and also held Michelin stars for his MR Restaurant before moving to New York to combine his light and effortless Nordic inspired cooking with local ingredients and heritage. Chef Refslund is one of the most influential chefs to ever come out of the Nordic region, and NORTH Festival is proud to have him as a participant for the third time running.
