FIKA’s baked goods are created right in the heart of Hell’s kitchen in New York. FIKA’s Head Baker, Robert Tell, brings classic Swedish desserts with a modern twist. He started baking at the ripe age of sixteeen, and has since cultivated his skills and worked at some of the highest ranking bakeries in Stockholm, Sweden. In 2015, he was voted one of the Top 10 Bread Bakers in North America by Dessert Professional, an industry leading publication.
Robert Tell is excited to share his passion for bread and pastries in the FIKA headquarter bakery. At this North Festival exclusive class, you will learn how Robert creates FIKA’s unique bread and pastries. In addition, you will get the chance to finish and roll your own traditionally Swedish cinnamon buns. During the class, you will be served wine and be able to enjoy FIKA’s crisp bread and signature spreads with cheese. To finish the evening off you will be given a small basket of FIKA baked goods along with a recipe card to help you re-create the made desserts at home.
